My Story
The reason I feel so strongly about gut health is because I have had my own journey with poor gut health as a child.I would get terrible bloating, headaches, brain fog and feel low on energy as a result. Travelling for holidays and exam season( too much stress!) was a nightmare because of the flare ups!
My biggest realization a few years ago was I can actually reset my gut. I don’t have to live like this and suffer in silence!
Forward to the present day, I worked on 3 aspects of my gut health -gut microbiome, gut motility and gut brain connection. I literally feel like I have a new life now and this is not even an exaggeration! At 30, my energy feels like a 20 year old, bloating and distention is zero , no headache or brain fog. After resetting my gut, I know which foods are my triggers and more importantly which foods promote a stronger gut. This knowledge helps me enjoy a wide variety of foods , go out, exercise, socialise and not have to worry about where the restroom is!
